Wednesday we had a “Vacation day” – Who doesn’t need a break from school work and house cleaning every once in a while (not that we are doing much of either right now) – We headed to Castlewood state park to do some trail walking and kite flying with friends.
I thought the rushing water had made neat patterns in the sand along the rivers edge.
Exploring the Meramac River – The ground was saturated and you could actually see on the opposite bank how high the water had risen during the torrential downpours we’ve had.
Kite flying attempts –
Don’t remember if this was hide’n’seek or tag –
Cool as a cucumber mom –
We never did make it on any of the trails. They weren’t exactly “stroller friendly” and my friend has a toddler 🙂 We had a great day nonetheless and the girls had a fabulous time playing at the park.
Bright Blessings –
