We finally got out to get our tree this past Sunday! It was wet, rainy and a tad dreary. But still warm – I kid you not – 60 + degrees in Missouri in December! We were really only wearing coats because of the rain –
The past few years we’ve just gone to a tree lot to buy our tree – I know we should go and cut a tree – but I feel that these are already cut and what happens to all of the extra trees that no one purchases?? This is my way of cutting back on pre cut trees that may end in the landfill –
That and we get Ted Drewes after 🙂
Rowan’s hunt for the “perfect” Charlie Brown tree was fierce – I took about 30 minutes of walking up and down the wet, tree isles in order to find just the one that jumped out at her.
It’s not fully decorated yet – Rowan lost steam after setting it up – she’s feeling under-the-weather.
Also this Sunday there was some ornament decorating – (post coming on that) –
And secret pajama pants sewing –
I really hope I’m making the right size! I chose the children’s large size as opposed to the adult extra small because the adult size looked SO BIG! But now I’m second guessing my choice:( I may have to go buy some more yardage just to be on the safe side.
We are off to do school work and hopefully more secret pajama pants sewing!
