Ready for fall and more sewing

I am so ready for fall. I am ready for long sleeve shirts and windows open. I am ready for changing leaves and Halloween. I am ready of just not being HOT when I walk out the door! I am ready for stews and soups.

Alas – I have  a few more weeks yet, before the seasons change. Fall is my favorite and I have the cutest halloween felt centerpiece to make for my table!

I’ve also been sewing lately – trying to achieve my goal of sewing daily – I made two fabulous zipper pouches – one out of fabric my Sister gifted me – It’s “Downton Abbey” like –

And the smaller one is an adorable spider/halloween fabric by Riley Blake –

Love them! Oh goodness – if Only I can use ALL of the zipper pouches I make!

I also threw together this simple tote for Jaia – I had designed this fabric on Spoonflower last year? And it’s been sitting on my fabric shelf since then –

The inside is lined with another irish dance fabric which I was trying  hoard – waiting to pick out the “perfect” project  – until Jaia pointed out that I had left the “c” out of St. Patrick’s day! OIY! It’s liner now  – (that’s what I get for “designing” fabric at midnight!)

She immediately filled it with dance shoes and used it last night – Makes me happy –

and just because – Jaia being silly 🙂

We had gone to see the Secret life of Pets – meh – Two movies in 2 weeks! That’s a record for us!

How are your summer days wrapping up?

Bright Blessings!
