Monotony

We’ve settled into somewhat of a routine now – school, work, work, riding, school, homeschool classes, homeschool classes.  I feel like I’m driving and driving all over the place some days.  But we are still managing to fit in some fun.

Jaia wanted to have a “slumber party” in the living room the other night – She’s been wanting for  awhile but I’ve alway poo-pooed it – not sure why – But sometime it IS easier to do these things when hubby is out of town. No early morning rising and he likes to watch TV in the morning before he works  –

But he was out of town so I said YES! Someone happily created a bed on the floor using blankets, gathered her reading material and bunkered down for the night. Check out the science book !

She lasted maybe 2 hours. Not too much past 11:00,  I heard her stumble back to her room , blankets and all, and fall back asleep   –

Apparently she was bored and uncomfortable –

BUT she got to try 🙂

I had a little bit of time over the weekend and earlier in the week to work on my little doll quilt –

I’m not quite sure how to quilt this yet but hey – it’s a work in progress!

Hopefully sometime SOON I’ll get to finish this, work on my bag of the month bag and make the Sew Liberated shirt that I have fabric for now!!

And I finally got around to making my tinctures! Elderberry and elderflower! In 6 weeks they’ll be ready to go!

Last but certainly NOT least – Jaia’s new solo dress should come sometime this weekend!

Bright Blessings!
