It’s already October?

Hello Lovlies –

This was supposed to go out last night – but my blog site was glitchy and wouldn’t save OR let me publish – It’s going out today instead – with a few additions.

We are 10 days into October and I really cannot think where all the time has gone. My Halloween decoration are not out yet even though this is my favorite season and holiday.

The sun is shining even though it just poured here in St. Louis –

Thunderstorms had been predicted although they seem to have past us by.

Thunderstorms I’d been waiting in anticipation for, by the way. (I’m still waiting – Keeping my fingers crossed for late night storms and it looks entirely possible!)

None happened.

It’s cool  – but, oh so humid, and yet this morning we FINALLY woke to gloriously cool FALL weather.

Soup is/was on the stove, since it was requested by 2 girls  – one of which simply loves soup, the other of which is feeling slightly under the weather. (as am I)

Chicken soup. It was delicious.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been dealing with some unusual female issues (11 weeks to be exact).  Things and issues not normally spoken about in every day life.

It’s making me slightly depressed and really there are days it’s hard to like my body, let alone leave the house.  It’s what I’ve been dealing with.

I’ve not let it keep me home completely though – I did get to go to New York again with my sister! I hit a few different places on my list. The Cloisters, the Met,the Statue of Liberty,  we saw the Guggenheim, learned how to really utilize the subway, ate a lot of street food, and over all had a really nice time.

Jaia and I have gone to our zoo (it’s free!), saw the new bear habitat, wandered through big cat country and named all the zebras and Emus. We went to the Renaissance Festival for the first time in a couple of years. Jaia decided that it was more fun when she was younger, but I greatly enjoyed myself. Next year she pinky swore to do things like shoot the bow and arrow and to throw tomatoes at the jester. (really! it’s a paid activity!)

School is in full swing and I’ve been both extremely busy and quite lazy – I’ve been sewing a bit and re-reading the Harry Potter series in anticipation of the HP trivia night the girls and I + my sister, have signed up for.

I’ve made a list of 25 things to work on and have decided to use those as blog topics. (we’ll see how that goes)

I hope all is well with you and I’m looking forward to fall and cooler weather and sharing my 25 list progress with you!

Bright Blessings!
